Thank you for visiting my Black & White blog site. I hope to convey a deep respect for the individuals that may appear here, and my love of nature, wildlife, landscapes, seascapes, still life and music as well as the antique things I may run into. My purpose is to help shed a little more light on things beautiful in this world. I hope you find your visit a pleasant one.
Feel free to comment. Thank you.
He would rise out of bed at 04:30 to 05:00 am, have a quick cup of tea, grab something to eat to tie him over until he returned with his catch for the day. Should the weather turn nasty, and the seas rage, often the wives would gather here in this little church in Trinity, NFLD, to pray his little boat would make it back....or give thanks when he returned. Such was life in the old outports, in the old days.
Tonight I thought I would use a very colourful lily as a subject for a bit of Black & White treatment. It is a much more graphic rendition of this flower, and the colour version is lovely, but it is one of those objects that lends itself well to another viewpoint. Hope you like it.....
